One of the aspects of running a venture fund that I am most excited about is turning over rocks that other VCs might not. That's why Sherbrooke and Benchmark just put $8mm into Farmingo , to support these food communities via social software. You buy a tower, connect it to a community, now others want it. Absolutely.

I grew up here, went to school here, and have worked hard over the last 5+ years to help build up the NYC innovation community. It’s often some combination of the idea not being big enough to sustain a venture exit or the company just not being appropriate for venture financing. I was there, too. > Life is a tradeoff.
