The fact is, it''s just not cool to criticize the investing side of the venture capital market. I just respectfully don''t see the same opportunity as her investors do, and I reserve the right to be 100% wrong. But can''t I disagree with him on an investment? What was said, who''s right, etc., doesn''t much matter.

And very little of it is in western Europe where most of our non-US investing has been for the last decade.

Most VCs did well academically and had enough career success that a venture firm was willing to give them an investment role or they were able to raise their own fund.
