Brad wrote up his answer here – you should read it because it’s very instructive for how I believe communities ought to think about naming conventions. World-class education including Caltech, USC and UCLA.

That became our main focus: To educate the hospitality industry. Tell us about Operation Rose and its community impact. Once I completed that, my goal was to become an EO member.

They’re building campuses, districts, buildings, spaces, as well as running new educational efforts and contests—basically anything they can think of to foster the growth of new and innovative companies. By being full time in the community—they can make connections to help market various programs and opportunities.

To provide an opportunity for VCs and senior executives to engage with the community by giving back rather than just attending more cocktail parties. The first two years of the program focused on education & mentorship. This education will continue. Can the community support them? Report Card.

Instead, his manager told him that these kinds of crises accelerate change and that he should embrace them. Since then, I’ve been asking myself, what changes will this crisis accelerate? Obviously, telecommuting/videoconferencing adoption will have accelerated. These types of crises accelerate change.
