I used to love blogging. For me it was always a creative outlet. Blogging proved to be a great way to hone my ideas, have public conversations with people and as it turns out – build meaningful relationships through public dialog that spilled over into the real world. Somewhere along the way blogging changed.

Want to get in front of a VC? Be a little creative--human even.

This is going to be BIG.

Given that, the lack of creativity and ingenuity around reaching an investor really astounds me. I set up an event at NYIT that is essentially just free, open feedback on ideas, prototypes, startups, etc. There are a lot of ways to reach investors by being a little more creative--without being creepy.
