Rosario Diaz Garavito, the founder of The Millennials Movement , didn’t look to be labeled as an entrepreneur and a leader in her community when she began her small social media movement promoting youth volunteerism in 2013. Businesses are laying off workers, shutting their doors (some permanently), and struggling to react to the radical destruction that coronavirus (COVID-19) is doing to our society and communities. Most have already sustained massive damage, and we still have yet to see the scope of this global pandemic.

While any exit in NYC is great, what makes this particularly special to those of us on this side of the river is that it was the first tech startup in Brooklyn to sell that was a) native, b) bought for what it did, and perhaps, more importantly, c) had a model whose idea was native to the ideals we promote in this community, namely creativity.
