This was the first step in building Nebraska’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, but more funding was needed in order to expand the initiative statewide. According to the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, all net new job creation is happening from startups less than five years old. Worth the wait. Job creation through entrepreneurship.

I'm not a lean startup zealot, but there are obviously lots of aspects of it that can lead to a ton of insights about your business. I didn't come from the recruiting industry when I started Path 101, but I had been obsessed with career discovery as a mentor and educator for eight years before I thought of an idea I wanted to pursue.

We're seeing the same thing happen within the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Many of those things will become companies--way more than we have now, and so, in a sense there will always be a shortage of engineers and other people to work at startups as long as you keep producing more innovators. In fact, let's get a second car.".
