We need to take some risks in education and in innovation in this country so anybody that it trying to break through the traditional mold and try to create a new model ought to be lauded, not attacked. Suddenly everybody wants to be an incubator. The value of a college education. Education is self discovery. Having fun.

The first two years of the program focused on education & mentorship. This education will continue. He previously co-founded Charlie , a Los Angeles based media company and interactive agency. But wait, does that make Launchpad LA an incubator now? There are at least 6 incubators now being set up in LA.

There are incubators to help you out on the financing side, too. The success of YCombinator and Techstars has spawned countless new incubators. New York will feature five this summer alone--Techstars, DreamIt, Startl and the NYC Seed/EDC Media and Finance incubators.
