Without strong leadership in place as a check on human impulses (selfish, short-term), the situation worsens and the whole episode drags on. But life is nowhere near returning to normal anytime soon. I’d say at best, we’re a quarter of the way through this thing. This is unsettling, which is why people are rejecting reality.
Q: What advice would you give to someone who is wanting to help build greater equity in the entrepreneurialecosystem/community here in KC? . A: I am excited about the shift in leadership. I am excited to see my peers thriving and taking on new leadership roles. Q: What do you consider to be your life’s work?
We do this by organizing panels on emerging topics in the entrepreneurialecosystem with academic, business and startup leaders. Business resilience is very dependent on leadership. For this, we don’t measure endurance but the capacity to open their entrepreneurial endeavors to the outside world. .
Our work could not be done without the tireless efforts of the volunteers and professional staff that serve the entrepreneurialecosystem. Similarly, we fought to keep the accredited investor definition from revisions on Capitol Hill that would serve to exclude more angels from participating in the startup space.
